Who are ELAN Balance tablets for?

The balance tablets were developed in collaboration with medical experts especially for people who are striving for responsible medical weight loss with the help of GLP-1 drugs, so-called “weight loss injections” with the active ingredient semaglutide (e.g. Wegovy®) or liraglutide (e.g. Saxenda®).

As the first company in the world to develop a dietary supplement for this specific target group, Elan is setting a new standard in nutritional support for responsible medical weight loss with injectables under medical guidance.

How does the weight loss injection work?

Injectables such as Wegovoy® and Saxenda® are GLP-1 receptor agonists that reduce appetite, slow gastric emptying, and increase insulin production. This helps to better control blood sugar levels and promotes weight loss.

The use of these drugs is particularly suitable for people who find it difficult to lose weight in the conventional way. Their effectiveness, proven by clinical trials, has led to them gaining popularity worldwide.

What should be considered when using the weight loss syringe?

Medical weight loss with the help of the weight loss syringe brings new challenges in terms of nutrition and health, which is why its use should only be carried out under the guidance of a doctor. Since the injectables reduce energy intake and curb appetite, you run the risk of not getting all the important vitamins and minerals. The result is often a perceived lack of energy and an impairment of skin quality, among other things.

The balance tablets provide balanced support for your new diet so that you can stay healthy and lose weight responsibly with the injectables.

Important: Administering injectables such as Wegovoy® and Saxenda® along with a chromium supplement may increase the risk of hypoglycemia. As a consequence, your blood sugar levels may be lower than expected, which can lead to symptoms such as dizziness, sweating, or confusion. For this reason, the Balance tablets do not contain chromium.

What is the recommended dosage and the correct time to take ELAN Balance tablets?

Take 1 Balance tablet per day, preferably before or during dinner. Do not exceed the recommended dose.

Dietary supplements are not a substitute for a varied and balanced diet. One balance tablet exceeds the recommended daily allowance of a number of vitamins and minerals for an adult. Therefore, you should only take the balance tablets on the advice of your doctor or therapist. In case of overdose, please consult your doctor.

Important: If you are also taking the Calcium Vital tablets or the Calcium Chew chewable tablets, take them at a different time than your balance tablet, as calcium inhibits the absorption of iron. You should wait at least 2 hours between taking the Calcium Vital Swallowable Tablet/Calcium Chew Tablet and the Balance Tablet so that your body has enough time to properly absorb the iron contained in the Balance Tablet.

How should the ELAN Balance tablets be stored?

Store below 25°C and in a dry and dark place. Keep out of reach and sight of small children. This dietary supplement is not suitable for children under 10 years of age.

What ingredients are in ELAN Balance tablets?

Bulking agent (E460(i)), minerals, vitamins, caffeine, choline bitartrate, explosives (E468), binder (vegetable oil), anti-caking agents (E470b, E551), glazing agents (E570, E953, E170, E464), colouring (E141, E172). The product is lactose-free and gluten-free and contains no flavors or fragrances. Elan’s balance tablets are halal-certified and suitable for vegan and vegetarian diets.
